I am a preacher, educator, author, and speaker. I am a woman’s life coach and counselor with a pragmatic, earthy style that not only reaches the heart of an issue but also the hearts of women.  I shifted my life from tragedy to triumph, and that is why I am committed to the spiritual care and well-being of women and girls.  My desire is to bring healing to wounded hearts by the power of God’s grace and help women thrive. In addition to being a powerful preacher of the gospel and gifted empowerment speaker, I am a certified Trauma Healing facilitator which informs much of my work.

My avid interest in reading and the power of language led me to complete my undergraduate education at New Jersey City University earning a BA in English/Literature. I taught English and Reading in the public-school system and was a featured educator on New Jersey Classroom Close-up. I received my Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary with a certificate in Women’s Studies and was the recipient of the John Allen Swink Award for Excellence in Preaching.

​Along with my husband Allen, I founded ReVision Ministries in 2012. Allen and I work together to see all people empowered to reach their highest potential while educating houses of worship on ways to fully embrace feminine gifts and become safe spaces free of harassment and abuse. As a minister and a life coach, I facilitate a variety of workshops and I am often a speaker for retreats,  civic, and social events.

 I’m also the author of The Pearl of God’s Eye, From Grace to Grace: A Prayer & Healing Journal; and have written for the blogs For Harriet and Blessed Chix. I’ve co-authored two anthologies, Gumbo for the Soul: The Recipe for Literacy in the Black Community and God Said I Am Battle Scar Free an Amazon Best Seller. I was honored to receive the Phoenix Award from Harambe Social Services as a survivor working in the field of domestic violence. With all that I do, my greatest joy is life with my husband and daughter.
